Inventions

My first patent was issued in 2011 and since then, I've earned 9 more. Several have been inspired by my work in enterprise software design, but I have also have patents related to tooling for electricians and teleconference calls. My first one was a faster way to map outlets and electrical receptacles to circuits.

In 2016, I was named Master Inventor at IBM. I led the Systems UI Invention Disclosure Team (216 Disclosures with 50% filed as patent applications) and been a mentor to 10+ inventors. I have also co-led design thinking workshops to help new inventors.

I was a panelist on a Triangle UXPA Panel on UX Inventions and Patents, where I presented with four fellow Master Inventors.
